Listen now!

Welcome to Bürgeln Castle

From the terrace of the early classical castle opens up a fantastic panoramic view: in the south you see Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau of the Bernese Oberland, in the west the Vosges chain, in between the Burgundian Gate, the Jura and the cities of Basel and Mulhouse. In the castle restaurant, this visual pleasure can be combined with culinary delights in the most pleasant way.

Hometown of the castle is the picturesque wine and summer resort Schliengen. Hillside vineyards, meadow orchards, vast forests and fields surround the community and its districts and provide for very varied diverse landscape paintings. Perfect for hikers and cyclists!

In this also gastronomically blessed region wineries and wine cooperative produce dry Chasselas wine, fruity white pinot blancs and deep red pinot noirs and full-bodied selections. If you want to visit us, please take the motorway departure Müllheim / Neuenburg.
