Welcome to Bitburg Reservoir

In the summer months, there is beach flair at the reservoir. The reservoir beach is located in a predestined spot, near the parking lot at the kiosk. Sun loungers invite you to relax. If you wish, you can have a private picnic on the beach or make use of the kiosk's facilities. The beach closes at 5 pm.

Located in the picturesque Prüm Valley, Biersdorf’s reservoir, known locally as ’Stausee,’ is the holiday oasis of the southern Eifel. The 35 hectare lake allows one to take part in the many leisure activities such as rowing, walking, wind-surfing and paddle-boating. The five kilometre long walking paths that surround the lake are also illuminated at night and invite one for a tranquil stroll. Cafés, pubs and restaurants can be found in the vicinity.
