Every year, more than 1,000 amateur and professional endurance athletes start at the circuit through the city centre of Erding. The ambience of the city centre and the running courses through the middle of the city are what make the events so attractive.

The centre of Erding shines in pre-Christmas splendour and the smell of mulled wine wafts through the air. In addition to the lovingly decorated stalls, a daily cultural programme is an indispensable part of the Christkindlmarkt. Free ice-skating fun for everyone is available on a 450 square metre artificial ice rink in the middle of the city.
