Relax in the world-famous thermal spa and adventure pool Therme Erding. Immerse yourself in the secrets of the art of brewing on a guided tour of the Erdinger Weißbräu brewery. And fall in love with the variety of small shops, cafés, sights and restaurants during a stroll through the charming old town.
Between the picturesque facades of the typical town houses, you can relax and enjoy Bavarian delicacies and international delicacies. In summer, numerous sun terraces and beer gardens invite you to linger. Special highlights are festivals such as the Old Town Festival, the Sinnflut Festival and the well-known Erdinger Autumn Festival. Sporting events such as the Erdinger Stadtlauf, the Stadttriathlon and the XLETIX-Challenge attract several hundred participants and spectators from near and far every year.
As a city of short distances, everything is easily and quickly accessible in Erding. The idyllic city park with adventure playgrounds and a small animal enclosure welcomes you just a few minutes' walk from the centre. The Kronthaler Weiher swimming and water sports paradise is also within walking distance.

With the Folk Music Days, the city of Erding cultivates a tradition that deals with the roots of its own way of life. When music is played and sung over three days in a wide variety of inns and places of worship as well as on streets and squares, all aspects of folk music are expressed.

A major endurance sports event when a short triathlon is held at the Olympic distance in addition to the city triathlon.
With the Freizeitanlage Nord at the Kronthaler Weiher, the varied surrounding countryside and the charming city centre of Erding as the main action area, an attractive environment is offered to both the top and amateur athletes as well as the spectators.

Another sporting event in Erding. The Kronthaler Weiher, varied gravel pits and a running course in the middle of nature make this challenge a special highlight. Over 6, 12 or 18 kilometres, participants prove their endurance, courage, strength and team spirit by overcoming numerous extreme obstacles.

At the 10-day cultural festival you can experience live music of all styles - familiar, new, experimental and tried and tested. Regional and national musicians do the honours. In the afternoon dance groups show their skills, in the evening there are musical delicacies and at night DJs ask you to dance. A playground for the fine and subtle, but also enough space for culinary delights.

The 3rd largest folk festival in Upper Bavaria is enjoyed by over 400,000 visitors every year. In two large beer tents and a beer hut, the famously drinkable Erdinger beer is served for 10 days. Younger guests can look forward to a large amusement park. The varied music programme is framed by exciting sporting events.

In addition to the lovingly decorated stalls, a daily cultural programme is an indispensable part of the Christkindlmarkt. Free ice-skating fun for everyone is available on a 450 square metre artificial ice rink in the middle of the city.
