Baden-Wuerttemberg, Black Forest
It's a pretty old town - Hüfingen. Situated on the edge of the southern Black Forest on the Baar plateau, the lovingly restored and listed old town is a lively, modern place to live.
A few tips for getting to know history: In the Roman bath ruins you will experience an exciting journey into Roman times and their extensive bath rituals. The Kastellbad belonged to the Roman military base of Brigobannis and is regarded as one of the best preserved baths north of the Alps.
Not so long ago was the use of slate, stylus and cane. The school museum with its historically equipped classroom focuses on teaching and learning.
But now out into the beautiful countryside, which is also a reason Hüfingen can call itself a state-approved resort. The wonderful landscape around Hüfingen with deep forests and gorges, waterfalls and magnificent views provides unforgettable nature experiences.
